Meet Mark harman

A ranch real estate broker in Texas who loves what he does.

Born and raised in East Texas, Mark spent his youth hunting and fishing with his dad and acquired an intense passion and appreciation for wildlife and the land.  Mark obtained his real estate license after working as a petroleum landman.

Being weary of the hustle and bustle of the sprawling city life in the Dallas area for 14 years, Mark and his wife Pam craved a peaceful country life amidst the backdrop of the Texas Hill Country in Fredericksburg where they currently reside.

Mark is a devoted Texan who has a love affair with our great state which he often refers to as ‘The Alamo of America’. He always brings his “A-Game” -- professionalism, relentless drive and the inside track on ranch properties.  Working with Mark is fun, fluid, and educational from start to finish.

His vision is to deliver thousands of acres of the best investment grade property in the Texas Hill Country to intrigued and passionate clients. Mark stands ready to put his ranch and wildlife knowledge and experience to work for you!

Buffet-mindedness: Making wise investments that profit

Heritage: Preservation of the inherent freedom of the outdoors

Core Values

Sustainability: Choosing properties that are consistently alive and well

Quality: Integrating business and friendship with enthusiasm and gusto

: activity in which one exerts strength or faculties to do or perform something.

Mark is passionate about the outdoors, he would even say it runs deep within his soul. Introducing people to his passion is one of the greatest reasons he is so invigorated by being a ranch real estate agent. The moment you hop into his Polaris Ranger, this zeal begins to rub off.

In practical terms, ranches are usually pretty rough and natural, they don't have the same well-groomed trails that make state parks so easy to walk. But that's where Mark sees the value in hard work. If he's going to invite you into his realm of expertise, he wants you to be able to enjoy it fully. This requires a truck full of handy men, gallons of gasoline and hour upon hour of sweaty cutting, clearing, and pruning.

Everyone benefits.

Buyers get the fullest experience and an accurate view of the land. Sellers get to show Mark the best routes and hidden places that make their property unique. Well groomed trails make the experience extremely enjoyable but also far more informative.

This is just one example of what Mark means when he tells people, "I work for you."

It also means having expert photographs taken of a property, coordinating a multi-day ranch touring experience for an interested buyer from the city, taking a whole family on a hike and even helping people find their bearings in the Texas Hill Country as they decide where they want to settle. Mark is a thoughtful guy who just wants everyone to enjoy what he loves and have a grand experience learning about his "Country". The net result? Mark's clients soon become his friends.

Here's What people are saying

"I have been a real estate investor for many years and Mark Harman provided the best transaction experience of my career.  He went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the process was convenient for me.  I developed a friendship with Mark through this transaction and I hope to work with him more in the future.”

"Mark was really great fit for us in the recent sale of our home.  He was always prompt to appointments and always met his commitments.  He was respectful of our home and how we lived in it as we prepared it for sale.  The professionals he brought in were a plus.  We knew our home and property would take a special buyer.  Mark’s sincerity, concern and professionalism were evident in each step.  His thorough knowledge of the marketplace and marketing strategies gave us confidence that his plan would attract that special buyer that we hoped would buy our home."

"Mark assisted my wife Terri and me in purchasing 120 acres of a 656 acre tract that he had listed on the Willow City Loop between Llano and Fredericksburg.  Initially the sellers were hesitant to parcel off a portion of the property, but Mark saw that it was a win-win situation for both us and the sellers.  This allowed us to add better access to Terri’s family property behind the 656 acre tract, improved the remaining seller’s tract by moving an existing [deeded easement] off of the tract, thereby improving the value, and insured continuing heritage ownership of at least a portion of the 656 acres.  Had it not been for Mark’s foresight, persistence, and desire to create good value for the both the buyer and the seller, I am certain that this transaction would not have occurred.  We are so very happy with our new property and thankful that we were able to work with someone of Mark’s integrity to get this accomplished!"

"We have had property for sale since 2005 here in the Texas Hill Country. After trying 4 different realtors, we gave Mark the listing. We immediately noticed a difference. He ATTACKED. In spite of a slow market and other obstacles, he got it done. He generated more interest, got more calls, made more showings, and found a qualified buyer. His professionalism was evident throughout the process - from accuracy in his representation of the property to diligence and proactivity through a difficult closing process. Truly a model of persistence..... and it paid off. Great Job!!!!!!"
